Amy Apperson, BSN, RN

Director of Nursing

Amy obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from MS University for Women in 1996. She has experience in ortho-neuro, radiology nursing, emergency and critical care nursing, as well as, extensive experience in psychiatric and substance abuse nursing. Amy has also worked as a certified legal nurse consultant for the last 8 years. She has served as a Director of Nursing for over 13 years.

Amy has been with Acadia Healthcare for three years. She served as the Director of Nursing of Vermilion Behavioral Health Hospital prior to joining our team in September 2017.
