Dr. Edward LaFleur

Medical Director, Addictionologist

Dr. LaFleur has been the Medical Director for Acadiana Treatment Center since its beginning.  He obtained his B.S. from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana), and his Medical Doctorate from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.  He completed his Family Practice residency training at the University Medical Center in Lafayette, where he served as Chief Resident for a year.  He opened his solo family practice, Youngsville Family Medicine, in 2004.  He is currently in private practice in Youngsville as part of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Primary Care Network.  He is a Board-Certified Family Physician.  Dr. LaFleur is an active member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and in 2011, was inducted as an honorary faculty member of the AOA Medical Honor Society.  He is a Gratis Faculty member of the LSU Health Sciences Center, teaching medical students.
