Glynis DeRoche, LCSW, BACS

Director of Clinical Services

Glynis DeRoche, Director of Clinical Services, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. She received her Masters in Social Work degree from Louisiana State University in 1996. While still a student, she began working in the addiction and mental health fields as a mental health tech. After graduating, she worked in both mental health and community-based agencies for over 14 years, in both clinical and administrative capacities, before coming to Acadia Healthcare in 2010 as Director of Clinical Services at Vermilion Behavioral Health Systems. While there, Glynis also served as Administrator of Optima Specialty Hospital and FLAGS Military Program Director.

In her role as Clinical Director, Glynis has been trained in specialized psychotherapy approaches, including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also has a strong interest in using mindfulness and holistic wellness concepts in the treatment process in order to address all aspects of clients’ individualized treatment needs. Glynis brings this treatment philosophy to Acadiana Treatment Center, joining the team in April 2018.
