Pam Whittington, RN
Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management
Pam has many, dedicated years of experience in the field of behavioral health providing care for the adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in the acute inpatient care, home health, and correctional settings. Pam is a native of southwest Louisiana and earned a degree in nursing from Louisiana State University in Eunice in 1996. She first began her experience in behavioral health in 2006 as a registered nurse with Vermilion Behavioral Health. She has worked in multiples capacities over the years at Vermilion including Registered Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Infection Control Nurse, Educator, Director of Nursing, and, most recently, Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management. As the Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management of Acadiana Treatment Center and Vermilion Behavioral Health, Pam provides a wealth of knowledge in relation to direct patient care and clinical safety practices. She is passionate about ensuring that those entrusted in our care are kept safe and provided with the best quality care during their stay.
