About Acadiana

Acadiana Treatment Center began in 2004.  It quickly established itself as a treatment facility whose programs provided some of the most effective treatment in south Louisiana.

Providing a Peaceful, Unique Environment

Acadiana Treatment Center provides a peaceful environment for our unique residential program. We are unique and what makes us unique is the involvement of the patient’s family.  We offer a weekly group meeting to family members, as well as a three-day family group the week prior to the patient’s graduation to help the patient maintain their new lifestyle, one that is free from chemical dependency.

Over the past few years, Acadiana Treatment Center has improved its property, inside and out, and its programs. The staff has grown and a core group of individuals choose to remain with us because of our family-like work environment. The patient is a part of the “family” and the care of our patients is paramount.

An assessment is an important first step toward treatment of and recovery from addiction and co-occurring mental health issues.

I noticed I seemed to be missing pill bottles from my medicine cabinet. My daughter had been stealing them and taking them, which we found out after she crashed her car into a median while driving. Once recovered, we sent her straight to Acadiana's addiction program because that is not the kind of life I wanted my daughter to lead. Their program really helped her and I think she greatly benefitted from learning about addiction and managing mental health. Now she is sober and is back on track and I'm proud of her.
