Who We Treat
The Acadiana Treatment Center Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) provides long‑term residential services for adolescents (ages 12–17) who have significant impairment in behavioral, cognitive, emotional, family, and social functioning.
The PRTF’s intensive psychiatric, medical, psychological, social, nursing, recreational, and educational services are open to all eligible adolescents regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, educational history, or social background.
Admissions
The need for help can come at any time. The admissions team at Acadiana Treatment Center understands this and are here for you 24/7 to begin the admission process. With a simple call from the client’s referent, or parent/legal guardian an admissions specialist will collect and review the prospective client’s history, needs, and treatment goals in order to determine appropriateness for admission. Once that appropriateness has been determined, the admissions specialist will proceed with coordination of admission into the program.
If services to the PRTF are not indicated through this process, we are closely linked to other community services and will facilitate a referral.
For more information about our PRTF program or to make a referral to Acadiana Treatment Center, please contact us at (337) 233-1111.
